LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The owner of one of Louisville's most popular restaurants will soon be back on the Food Network.

Ferguson and his mother will face other chefs and their mothers on a special Mother's Day show scheduled for May 13.

"I took my mom to battle against past winners and we are a dynamic duo," Ferguson said. "In the kitchen with one of my biggest motivators was a real experience as I honor her on Mother's Day. You will enjoy seeing us work together."
On May 20, Ferguson will compete on Guy's Grocery Games for the third time. Chefs must shop for the ingredients needed to make a fun dish by Guy Fieri and will be judged on their ability to make a delicious meal with what they had on hand.
"It's always fun to appear on Guy's Grocery Games. I take the challenges very seriously but I enjoy the creative side of the show. It challenges me and I take many of the tasks and tricks of the trade given and I apply them in my own Louisville restaurant," Ferguson explained.
