Teen killed in Oldham Co. accident

LA GRANGE, KY (WAVE) - A student at a high school in Oldham County has been identified as the victim of a deadly single-vehicle accident.
The accident happened around 11:20 a.m. Wednesday in the 5700 block of Old LaGrange Road. According to Oldham County police, a Honda Civic was heading westbound when the driver lost control and struck a tree.

The driver, Hunter B. Hardin, 18, was killed in the crash. Hardin was a student at South Oldham High School in Crestwood.
The accident remains under investigation. Police say speed may have been a factor.
