Proposal outlines showed a new building with gaming on the second floor. It also included the demolition of the existing drop off area, pavements, sidewalks and landscape areas between the casino and parking garage, according to Eric Wise with the Harrison County Plan Commission & Land Conservation Program.
The building itself would be located between the existing casino and the parking garage.
When WAVE 3 spoke with commissioners in Harrison County in January they said a land-based casino operation would be beneficial for the county.
Caesar's Entertainment released a notice to WAVE 3 News on Thursday regarding a special announcement from Horseshoe. The announcement is set to be made at Smoke & Rye at the casino at 10 a.m. on April 25.
