Restaurant raises money to promote child abuse awareness
Bearno's Pizza has teamed up with Exploited Children's Help Organization (ECHO) to promote Child Abuse Awareness. 

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Throughout the month of April, a WAVE Country business has been working to prevent child abuse.

Bearno's Pizza has teamed up with Exploited Children's Help Organization (ECHO) to promote Child Abuse Awareness.

According to ECHO, one in six girls and one in four boys will be sexually abused before their 18th birthday. ECHO works to reduce incidents of child abuse in WAVE Country.

On April 23, all Metro Louisville and Southern Indiana Bearno's locations will donate 15% of all orders to ECHO. Bearno's hops that their fundraiser helps

ECHO continue to provide FREE education to schools, organizations, and the community on how to recognize, react and report child abuse, whether the abuse occurs in life or on the internet.

In 2017, ECHO educated over 6000 children and adults on the importance of body safety, internet safety, and reporting child abuse.
