Multiple students injured in JCPS bus crash

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Multiple people were injured in a crash involved in Jefferson County Public School bus.
The crash was reported on Poplar Level Road at Shepherdsville Road around 7:10 a.m. Monday, according to MetroSafe.
Toni Konz-Tatman, with JCPS Communications, said bus number 1128 was transporting 27 students from Southern High School at the time of the crash.
Eight students reported minor injuries and were taken to an area hospital as a precaution, Konz-Tatman said.
No additional information has been released.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
