Woman killed in Kennedy Bridge crash identified
LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A woman from New Albany died in a three-car crash on the Kennedy Bridge on Monday morning.
The crash was reported on Interstate 65 south around 8:55 a.m., according to TRIMARC.
Dwight Mitchell, a Louisville Metro Police Department spokesman, said the preliminary investigation showed the driver of a white Jeep Wrangler failed to notice stopped traffic ahead and ran into the rear of a tractor trailer.
That driver was Lillian Bouch, 21, of New Albany, Indiana, the Jefferson County Coroner's Officer confirmed. She died of multiple blunt force trauma.
The LMPD Traffic Unit is handling the investigation.
