LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - There is a summer camp for every interest - from sports to acting to the traditional outdoors/campfire/archery type. And one type of camp is making it fun for kids to learn tech and engineering skills that could one day get them a job.

At Flymore Academy, based out of North Carolina, kids 11 to 17 get to build their own drones. They get to do everything from wiring to soldering, programming and eventually flying.

ID-Tech camps serve campers ages 7 and up and are offered right here in Louisville at UofL. The camps teach marketable skills like coding, game design and video production. There are some spaces still available. Week-long camp prices run between $799 and $1,200.
