LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The Jefferson County Coroner's Office released the identity of the man who was shot to death in Park Hill.

The victim was Dwayne Sensley, 27, who died at the University of Louisville Hospital at 11:41 a.m. on Saturday morning of gunshot wounds, Deputy Coroner Charles Edelen said.

On Saturday afternoon, the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) said Brandon Johnson, 27, had been arrested after investigating the deadly shooting, which took place on Saturday morning.

The call came in of an incident that occurred in the 1700 block of St. Louis Avenue, in the Park Hill neighborhood, around 10:57 a.m., MetroSafe said.

When crews arrived on scene, EMS began treating a black male with multiple gunshot wounds in the 1700 block of St. Louis Ave., LMPD spokesperson Dwight Mitchell said.
