Around 9:45 a.m. that day, LMPD robbery detectives say Garrett went into the City Market at 2100 W. Broadway but left without buying anything. He then met up with Harrison outside the store and served as the lookout while Harrison committed the robbery at gunpoint.

Garrett and Harrison ran off after the robbery but were arrested in the area. Clothing work by the men and the gun used during the robbery were recovered.
