LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Just in time for the the Derby crowds, Rabbit Hole distillery held their ribbon cutting on Tuesday.
The distillery is located in downtown Louisville in the NuLu neighborhood and it's open for visitors.
The facility will have an annual production capacity of 1.2 million proof gallons.
That puts it on the top 20 list of largest bourbon distilleries in the world.
"We're opening Kentucky's newest whiskey distillery," said founder Kaveh Zamanian. "Out of nothing, a place that was a run down warehouse and vacant lot, there is now this place, full of beautiful people and a lot of great products out of the facility."
The distillery offers a campus where guests can to dine, sip, tour and host events.
