LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Horse racing history is now up for auction.
The Georgetown, Kentucky Police Department is auctioning off halters worn by Derby winners, including American Pharoah, California Chrome, and Silver Charm.
Money raised will be used to create a mounted patrol, where officers would patrol the downtown area of Georgetown on horseback.
