CORYDON, IN (WAVE) - A superhero carnival will help the renovation of two playrooms at Norton Children's Hospital.

The 4th annual Kinley's Helping Hands Carnival will be from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m on June 30 at Lincoln Hills Christian Church in Corydon. Admission is $5 per person.

Kinley, of Kinley's Helping Hands, was born with a rare medical condition less than three out of 1 million people are diagnosed with each year. Much of Kinley's life has been spent in and out of the hospital, where any type of illness can be detrimental to her health.

In 2014, Kinley decided she wanted to give back to the very hospital that had saved her life multiple times. She wants to help other kids and give them a reason to smile during their hospitalization. Through her organization's events, she has donated thousands of toys, parent care bags and more than $50,000.

The carnival benefits the renovation of two playrooms on the fifth floor at Norton Children's Hospital. One of the playrooms is named in Kinley's honor from her continuous work for Norton Hospital.

There will be activities for the whole family at the event including performances by different groups such as Heros for Hire, over 50 silent auction items, a photo booth and even a petting zoo.
