Weddings are special but tend to be expensive. Be practical and save some money this Sunday at the Louisville Marriott East. FancyFlip Events is hosting a resale event where brides will bring decorations from their wedding, reception, showers, and rehearsal dinner. They'll also be selling accessories like shoes and jewelry. Come to the event to get wedding planning advice from newlyweds or ideas for your own wedding.

Bring cash in small bills! Credit cards aren't accepted. Also bring storage bins and shopping bags to take your items with you. Everything is first come first serve.

Taste of Independents

Come experience Louisville's local food scene this Sunday at The Olmsted. Taste of Independents is a tasting event with over 30 local restaurants, craft beers, wine and bourbon. There will be a silent auction and entertainment by the Robbie Bartlett Duo. Some of the participants include Anoosh Bistro, Baked, Brasserie Provence, Bristol Bar and Grille, Butchertown Grocery, Chateau Bourbon B & B, Citizen 7, Coal's, Equus, Harvest, Hull and Highwater, Irish Rover, The Manhattan Project, Mark's Feed Store, Martini Italian Bistro, La Chasse, Lou Lou, Louvino, Porcini, Sweet Surrender, Uptown, Varanese, Volare and more.

The event benefits Apron Inc. which helps people in the local food service industry financially when they find themselves in need due to illness, injury, or other issues.

Louisville City FC

Support Louisville City FC this weekend while fighting cancer. Louisville City FC is playing the Charlotte Independence Saturday at 7:30pm at Louisville Slugger Field. A portion of the proceeds from all tickets sold will benefit the American Cancer Society.
