Bike the Bluegrass
The American Lung Association is hosting Bike the Bluegrass, a cycling event supporting clean air and healthy lungs. Cyclists experience the scenic views Kentucky has to offer from the perspective of a bike.
The event is happening on Saturday September 15th. All rides start and end at General Butler State Resort Park in Carrollton, KY. Cyclists have their pick of 3 routes to choose from: 25, 50, and 62 miles.
After the ride, stay for a cookout under the stars, themed "Bites, Beer and Bourbon." There will be craft beer sampling and a signature bourbon cocktail. Don't worry about driving home and spend the night at General Butler State Resort Park.
Monnik Beer Company is a sponsor of Bike the Bluegrass and will have a team riding.
