LOUISVILLE (WAVE) -- It's been four days since a 69 year-old man went missing and now police are asking for the public's help to find him. Hugh "Patrick" O'Dea was last scene near the Zachary Taylor National Cemetery in the 4900 block of Brownsboro Road Tuesday. WAVE 3's Shayla Reaves investigates.

Louisville Matro Police spokesperson Det. Phil Russell says that family members of 69-year-old Hugh O'Dea became concerned when co-workers said he didn't show up for work Wednesday. They filed a missing persons report with police on Thursday.

O'Dea is 6 feet tall and weighs 235 pounds. He works at the Rodes Clothing Store in the 12000 block of Shelbyville Road. His employer would not go on camera, but she tells WAVE 3 that she last saw him leaving work around 4 p.m. Tuesday. Authorities say the time is critical because O'Dea's health could be in danger.

"It's our understanding that he doesn't have his medicine with him and his medication is required daily," Russell said.

Police wouldn't tell us O'Dea's condition, but a co-worker tells us he suffers from Parkinson's disease.

Again, O'Dea is 69 years old, stands 6 feet tall and weighs 235 pounds. Police are asking anyone with information to call the LMPD tipline at 574-LMPD.
