LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Patchy morning fog early will give way to sunshine, but it will remain cold. Clouds will increase during the afternoon and evening as an upper-level disturbance approaches the area. Temperatures will warm into the upper 40s and lower 50s this afternoon. There will be enough moisture in place Tonight into Monday morning that isolated showers will be possible, but most stay dry. Lows will drop into the mid to upper 30s. Monday will be cooler with highs only in the 40s with lingering clouds and a chance for isolated sprinkles during the afternoon. Another disturbance moves through late Monday into Tuesday keeping clouds in the region and a slight chance of a shower. A light southwesterly wind returns on Tuesday, so that should boost temperatures a few degrees warmer than Monday. Sunshine returns for a brief period on Wednesday, allowing temperatures to warm near 60 degrees for the first time in a while. Our next chance of rain comes with a cold front on Thursday followed by a drop in temperatures by the end of the week.
