LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Hot and humid are two simple ways to describe today.

Abundant sunshine and southerly winds will drive highs into the low 90s this afternoon. With the extra humidity around it will feel like the mid-90s at times this afternoon.

A few spotty showers and storms will attempt to drift into our western and southwestern counties this afternoon and evening but most locations will stay dry.

Tonight will be warm and muggy as temperatures fall into the 60s.

Thursday is yet another hot and humid day as highs return to the upper 80s and low 90s. Afternoon pop-up showers and storms can be expected but they will fade as the evening progresses.

Friday and Saturday are near carbon copies of Thursday.
