WAVE 3's Kentucky Poll of Senate Race
LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - We're just days away from election day and we're working to bring you the newest election information.
WAVE 3 is releasing results of our Kentucky Poll. It's a joint effort of WAVE TV, WKYT in Lexington, and the Lexington Herald Leader.
One of the question's: What do you feel is the single most important issue facing Kentucky today?
72% say the economy and jobs.
The second question: In the short term, which one of the following do you feel would be the better way to improve the economy? Continue increased federal spending to create jobs or cut federal spending to reduce the debt.
Overall, 60% say cut federal spending.
Taking a look at party lines, we asked the same question and it appears bad news for Conway. Democrats were divided on the issue. But, Republicans and Democrats were overwhelming in favor of cutting government spending.
The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 4-percentage points.
