Two Kentuckiana post office locations closing

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A Louisville post office station is closing its doors this weekend while another still has a month of business to go.
The U.S. Postal Service will officially close the Beechmont Finance Station on Jan. 15. In 2009, the Beechmont station and the Plainview Finance Station were among several put on a possible closure list when the USPS was facing a multi-billion dollar shortfall.
The last day of operation for the Plainview station will be on Feb. 18.
