House Democrats continue boycott, although hope grows

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (WAVE) - There is optimism growing between Republican and Democratic house leaders in the Hoosier state on March 9. However, there are no signs that the boycotting Democrats will return when the House is scheduled back in session on March 14.
Republican speaker Brian Bosma said he discussed the fate of several bills that have been stalled during the boycott with Democratic leader Pat Bauer.
Most Democrats have been in Urbana, Illinois for 16 days now.
