UPS Hiring Seasonal Workers

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - With holiday shopping season just around the corner, many area residents may be looking to make some extra cash. Now UPS is offering you a chance to do just that.

The shipping giant is looking to hire hundreds of seasonal workers for various positions from package handlers and driver helpers, to tractor trailer drivers. The pay ranges from $8.50 an hour for the package handler jobs, to $20 an hour for tractor trailer drivers. The hours vary for each position.

Job types include:

  • Package Handlers - Wage: $8:50 per hour
  • Four shifts: Midnight - 4:00am / 4:00am - 8:00am / 10:00am - 3:00pm / 5:00pm - 9:00pm

 

  • Driver Helpers - Wage: $12.88 per hour
  • Helpers are on call 8:00am-8:00pm 3

 

  • Seasonal Tractor Trailer Drivers - Wage: $20 per hour
  • On call 24/7
  • Requires a Class A commercial driver's license with T endorsement (doubles & triples)◦
  • Two year's experience

Seasonal positions run through 12/31/11.
