Man accused of murdering woman pleads not guilty

LOIUSVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A man suspected in the rape and murder of a Louisville woman earlier this week was back in front of a judge Friday morning.
Police say 39-year-old Anthony Politi killed 45-year-old Edwina Adkins by strangling her while they were having sex.
It happened late Sunday night at a home on West Kentucky Street.
Politi pleaded not guilty and is being held on one million dollars bond. He'll be back in court in March.
