Third suspect captured in case of murdered Louisville teen

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A third and final suspect in the murder of 15-year-old Gregory Holt was captured on Monday.

Cannon "Curt" Pendergrass was found to be staying with Quenise Simon-Ellis, who was also arrested and charged with hindering apprehension. Pendergrass eluded capture for nearly a week.

The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force and Louisville Metro Police made the arrests. No other information about Pendergrass' capture was released.

Two other men were arrested in the case on April 16. James Mallery, 29, and Anthony L. Hogan Jr. are charged with murder and first-degree burglary.

Holt was shot to death April 11 at the home he shared with his mother. Holt's mother was grocery shopping when her son was killed. She came home and discovered his body.
