LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Could the
University of Kentucky's most famous cheerleader be the next U.S. Senator for
Louisville's newly reelected Congressman
John Yarmuth said Ashley Judd would be a great candidate to run against Kentucky's
Senior Senator and Minority Leader Mitch McConnell.
In his victory speech Tuesday, Yarmuth
blamed McConnell for the gridlock in Washington.
Wednesday, Yarmuth's campaign said
Yarmuth has been saying whenever asked that Judd would make a good candidate to
run against McConnell when he is up for reelection in two years.
Judd was born in Kentucky, but currently
lives in Tennessee.
