Victim of 35th and Broadway shooting identified

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Saturday night's shooting victim at 35th & Broadway  has been identified as 17-year-old Darius Miller, Jr.

Miller was pronounced dead early Sunday morning at University Hospital. The cause of death was a single gunshot wound, according to the coroner.

Homicide detectives were able to develop information for an arrest warrant in connection with the shooting, leading to the arrest of Kyle Chambers in Dubois County, IN, where he is currently being held. Chambers is a resident of Huntingburg, IN.

Smiley said no arrests have been made, nor are there any suspects, in the weekend's other three homicides at Taylor and Central; Clay and Broadway, or Brook Bend and Leisure Lane.
