Police: Meth labs found at Clarksville apartment complex, hotel

CLARKSVILLE, IN (WAVE) - Police were on the scene of a pair of suspected meth labs Monday morning.
Officers approached a suspicious truck in the parking lot of Olde Town Village Apartments on Irving Drive in Clarksville, Indiana. They said inside was Donald McKim, 47, half asleep and sitting next to a portable meth lab made out of 20-ounce Coca-Cola bottles.
Darrell Rayborn with the Clarksville Police Department said as officers talked with McKim and patted him down, "they found a room key to the Best Inn. Officers went there and that's where they found the other person."
The other person was Deborah Andres, 32. Police said Andres, who is McKim's fiance, was found in the hotel room with another portable meth lab.
McKim recently was released from the Floyd County jail for meth charges. Rayborn said both McKim and Andres have prior charges stemming from meth.
Both suspects are charged with manufacturing meth, possession of precursors, possession of meth and maintaining a common nuisance.
