LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A Louisville woman was arrested for allegedly robbing several senior citizens.

According to LMPD, Demesha Hicks, 27, was targeting older women who had just finished shopping and were on their way home.

On November 11, Hicks allegedly attacked an 82-year-old on her front porch after the victim returned from Kroger. The victim said Hicks pulled her purse from her shoulder which caused her to fall off the porch. That victim broke her shoulder in the fall.

Later on November 11, another 82-year-old victim said Hicks grabbed her purse and drug her across the driveway which caused injury to the victim's hip, finger, arm and leg. Hicks also allegedly kicked and punched this woman.

On November 12, a 79-year-old victim was returning home from Kroger when she said Hicks pulled her purse from her shoulder causing her to fall and hit her head.

That same day, Hicks apparently also targeted a 77-year-old who had also come home from shopping. In this case, Hicks took the victim's wallet.

Hicks is charged with four counts of robbery.
