Man shot, killed behind vacant apartment complex

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A man was shot and killed behind a vacant apartment complex Friday night, according to Louisville Metro police.
LMPD spokesman Dwight Mitchell said the shooting happened in the 1600 block of Arcade Avenue shortly after 10 p.m.
When officers arrived they found the victim who was pronounced dead at the scene.
No suspect information has been released.
The LMPD Homicide Unit is investigating the case. Anyone with information related to the shooting is asked to call the LMPD anonymous tip line at (502) 574-LMPD.
