Officer treated for smoke inhalation in Clarksville apartment fire

CLARKSVILLE, IN (WAVE) – A police officer was treated for smoke inhalation after responding to the scene of an apartment fire in Clarksville.
Clark County Central Dispatch confirmed the fire started in the 800 block of Wellington Court at 3:30 p.m. Monday.
Officer Tony Bryant was taken to Clark Memorial Hospital where he was treated and released, dispatchers said.
No other injuries have been reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
