Daycare van collides with garbage truck

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A van carrying children to daycare was hit by a garbage truck Monday morning, according to police.
Dwight Mitchell with Louisville Metro Police, says around 7:00 a.m. on Monday, December 22, the van carrying eight children to a private daycare was backing out of a driveway in the 3800 block of Powell Avenue when it was hit.
No one was seriously injured.
