UPDATE: Louisville man identified as victim of Bullitt Co. crash

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - One person was killed in a crash on Kentucky 245 at the Bullitt County-Nelson County line.

According to the Bullitt County Sheriff's Office, the crash was reported just after 8 a.m. Jan. 26. Deputies say a blue Ford Focus was heading north on KY 245, also known as Clermont Road, toward Interstate 65 when the driver swerved into oncoming traffic. The Focus hit a white Volkswagen Jetta.

The man driving the Jetta, Aaron D. Miles, 25, of Louisville, was killed. The woman in the Focus was taken to University of Louisville Hospital with life threatening injuries. Her name has not been released.

KY 245 was shut down for for 3 1/2 hours while deputies investigated the crash and cleared scene.
