Crews battle apartment fire on Fern Valley Court

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Eight apartments were damaged in a Tuesday afternoon attic fire near the intersection of Fern Valley Road and Shepherdsville Road.
Crews were dispatched to the fire at 6407 Fern Valley Court at 12:05 p.m.

Four upstairs apartments and four downstairs apartments sustained smoke and/or water damage. Firefighters said a fire wall kept the flames from spreading to eight other units.
No injuries were reported in the two-alarm fire.
Seven fire departments responded to the fire.
The American Red Cross is helping those affected by the fire.
