LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Two people were transported to the hospital with possible burn injuries after an apartment complex fire in southwest Jefferson County.

The fire was reported at an apartment complex at 2500 Pennacook Road, near St. Andrews Church Road, at 12:28 p.m., according to Metrosafe.

Pleasure Ridge Park fire officials say the extent of the injuries is not known, but that the two people were outside and conscious when crews arrived on scene.

The fire was knocked down quickly and contained to one apartment, Lt. Col. Brian Morgan said.

Officials are investigating.
