Man charged with firing gun into Lyndon apartment

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A Louisville man is facing six counts of wanton endangerment after of firing a gun into an occupied apartment.

Donald J. Bradford III, 20, was arrested early March 25.

Louisville Metro police said the incident happened around 9:30 p.m. March 24 at an apartment in the 1700 block of Bridgeview in Lyndon.

His arrest report says Bradford knocked on the victim's door, but was was refused entry. The apartment resident said Bradford then pointed a gun at a window and fired.

Police recovered a .45 caliber shell casing at the scene. Detectives also found a box of .45 caliber bullets that matched the recovered shell casing during a search of Bradford's truck.

Bradford is being held at Louisville Metro Corrections on a $50,000 cash bond.
