LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - As thousands gear up to travel to Louisville for the 142nd Kentucky Derby officials with the Transportation Security Administration have a friendly reminder about what you can and cannot travel with.

The biggest item TSA officials say they see at the Louisville International Airport security checkpoints at following Derby Day is bourbon.

Passengers are allowed to carry on less than 3.4 ounces of non-flammable liquids. If you purchase a commemorative bottle of bourbon while visiting Louisville make sure you check that with your luggage.

Also, it's important to remember that the airport will be extremely busy on the Sunday after Derby so travelers should allow extra time to clear the security checkpoints.
