6 families displaced following fire in Jeffersontown

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Six families were displaced after a fire started inside of an apartment in Jeffersontown on Monday afternoon.
The fire was reported in the 9200 block of Wendell Circle around 6:25 p.m., according to MetroSafe.

It took firefighters approximately 25 minutes to gain control of the fire.
No injuries were reported. The American Red Cross will assist the fire victims.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
