Six people displaced following apartment fire

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Six people were displaced after a fire started in an apartment complex in Louisville's California neighborhood.
The fire was reported in the 1600 block of Plymouth Court around 7:45 p.m. on Monday.
When fire crews arrived they reported heavy smoke and fire coming from the three-story building.
According to fire officials, it took 35 firefighters approximately 25 minutes to gain control of the flames.
Two apartment units were heavily damaged by the fire.
No injuries were reported.
The Red Cross will assist the fire victims.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
