One injured after crashing into swimming pool
PUTNAM COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) - One person is injured after crashing into a swimming pool Saturday morning, according to officials.
According to Hurricane Fire and Rescue, a crew responded to a crash in the construction zone on Interstate 64 eastbound.
This happened just before Cow Creek, around 11:40 a.m.
They later found out the car had crashed into a swimming pool in a neighborhood.
The driver was pulled from the car by a West Virginia State Police Trooper and a Putnam County EMS Paramedic Supervisor before Fire and Rescue arrived.
The trooper was assigned to the construction zone near the crash.
The driver was transported to the hospital, but there is no word on their condition.
Hurricane Fire and Rescue was assisted by the Hurricane Police Department in removing the car from the pool.
