Two recovered after water rescue in Ohio River

Two people were recovered from the Ohio River by the Louisville Fire Department.

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Two people were recovered from the Ohio River by the Louisville Fire   Department.

According to MetroSafe, around 4 p.m. Wednesday crews were dispatched on a report of a water rescue at the McAlpine Lock and Dam.

MetroSafe said one person was recovered quickly at the Harrison Boat Ramp in Clarksville, Indiana and a second person was recovered around 4:35 p.m. in the same location.

MetroSafe reported one of the people who was pulled from the river was conscious and one person was not.

No further information has been released.
