Hot dog vendor accused of road rage murder back in custody; bond increased

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – The hot dog vendor accused of shooting and killing a man during a road rage incident was taken back into custody on Wednesday with an increased bond of $50,000.

Donald Hayes, 67, was charged with the murder of Danny Wilson, 57, after Wilson died of a gunshot wound he suffered in the parking lot of Chase Bank and C.T. Haircutters on Polar Level Road on Saturday.

Hayes, who sold hot dogs for years at the corner of 6th and Liberty in downtown Louisville.
