Man arrested for setting fire at apartment building


LOUISVILLE KY (WAVE) - A 23 year old Louisville man has been charged for intentionally setting an apartment on fire in an occupied building.
Investigators with the Louisville Metro Arson Bureau arrested Jamal Marcus Brown for setting the fire in his own apartment.

An arrest report says Brown used a cigarette lighter and lighter fluid to start the fire on April 25 by the back door of his apartment in the 5500 block of Delmaria Way. He then threw the lighter fluid bottle away and fled.
Brown was arrested later the same day and is charged with first degree arson and tampering of physical evidence.
