Woman in hospital after shooting on West Broadway

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A woman is in the hospital after a shooting on West Broadway Friday night, according to Louisville Metro police.
LMPD spokesperson Dwight Mitchell said around 11:45 p.m. officers were called to the area of 37th Street and West Broadway on the report of a shooting. When they arrived, they were told a woman who had been shot in the leg was being taken to UofL Hospital by private means.
LMPD’s Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating. There are no suspects. Anyone with information can call the anonymous tip line at 502-574-LMPD (5673) or use the LMPD Crime Tip Portal.
