Jury recommends 50-year prison sentence for Louisville man found guilty of 2022 murder

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A Louisville man was found guilty of a March 18, 2022 murder.

The jury recommended 50 years in prison for Lorenzo Tunstull who courts said stalked his victims for over an hour before opening fire. Ricky Harris put himself between his four-year-old son and Tunstull. Harris was shot multiple times and died before he could be taken to the hospital. Harris’s girlfriend, the mother of his children, had her cell phone shot out of her hands as well.

Tunstull was found guilty of murder, two counts of wanton endangerment, and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.

Formal sentencing is scheduled for Jan. 7.
