Man killed in Jeffersontown apartment shooting identified

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - The name of the man killed in a shooting at a Jeffersontown apartment complex has been released by the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office.

Police were called to a shooting at the Arbor Point Apartments around noon on Wednesday, Oct. 22. They arrived to find the door of the apartment ajar and 34-year-old Airrice Clayton sitting in a chair, dead from multiple gunshot wounds.

Jeffersontown Police said they believe the shooter knew Clayton and are asking for anyone with surveillance footage from the area around the time of the shooting to forward it to crimetips@jtownkypd.org.
