Woman accused of killing 5-year-old son pleads not guilty
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - The woman accused of killer her son and dumping his body in a suitcase in southern Indiana appeared in court in Louisville Monday.
Dejaune Anderson’s cased was moved to Jefferson County a week ago, as police believe that’s where the murder took place.
Monday’s arraignment was straight forward, especially compared to Anderson’s court appearances in Washington County.
Anderson entered a not guilty plea on charges of murder, manslaughter, criminal abuse and abuse of a corpse. She also requested a public defender, whereas in Washington County, she filed a motion to represent herself and falsely claimed her public defender there was President Joe Biden’s grandson.
