Man dead after motorcycle accident near Louisville Slugger Field

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A man is dead after crashing his motorcycle at the Waterfront Thursday morning, police said.

Officers responded to a reported single-vehicle motorcycle crash at the intersection of Witherspoon Street and Preston Street around 2:40 a.m. on June 11.

Their preliminary investigation determined that the man was driving his motorcycle, lost control and hit a curb and crashed. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The LMPD Traffic Unit is handling the investigation.
