Ex-NFL player enters plea on southern IN charges

JEFFERSONVILLE, IN (WAVE) - A former NFL player has taken a plea deal in Clark County on drug and weapons charges.
Chris Terry, a ten year veteran of the NFL, was arrested in November 2010 in Clarksville.
Attorney Larry Wilder tells us that as part of a plea deal, Terry pleaded guilty May 17 to misdemeanor possession of a handgun without a permit and misdemeanor possession of cocaine.
As a result, Terry was sentenced to probation and will spend no time behind bars.
