LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - With enrollment up, they're putting on their hard hats at St. Francis School.

The campus is expanding after buying 17,000 square feet of space, increasing the school's size by 50 percent.

The $2.75 million purchase is part of a $15 million capital campaign.

"We have grown about 27 percent over the last four years since our two St. Francis schools came together, our Goshen campus 2-year- olds through eighth grade, and the high school campus here at Third and Broadway. We actually need some additional space," said Alexandra Thurstone, head of St. Francis school.
